Study on the Reproductive Power in the Areas of Islands

Abstract
|
|
|
Survey was done for 999 male and 2,271 females in the areas of islands to observe the reproductive power in these areas during the period of 2nd to 12th August, 1961.
Ages at marriage, menarche and menopause and number of delivery were surveyed and the following conclusions were obtained.
1. The average years of age at marriage were 22.14 for male and 18.94 for female.
2. The average years of age at menarche were 16.67.
3. The average years of age at menopause were 69.92.
4. The average numbers of delivery were 6.52
